Central Ambulance Service has recently undergone a technological overhaul across the service, we have upgraded our hardware, purchased the most up to date professional software, we have upgraded our broadband connections to HSCN Complaint services meaning we are fully ready to operate in a new paperless world! Our efforts have seen us pass the Cyber Essentials Assessment.
Central Ambulance Service Limited is now registered and certified at ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management ISO 14001:2015 in Environmental Management and ISO 45001:2018 in Occupational Health and Safety Sytems. We are proud to be certified by external auditors for these international standards.

We are really pleased to appoint dementia champions at our ambulance stations! Our dementia champions will be attending training courses and undertaking placements to make them dementia experts and together as a service we will be making our Ambulance PTS Service Dementia Friendly!
Dementia Champions will spend time with all our crews and discuss and inform them about dementia and we will formulate ways to ensure that the service meets the needs of our patients with dementia with the ultimate aim of making sure that our service causes minimal distress and confusion and ensures our staff can deal with our patients in a person centred way.
