EVENT MEDICAL COVER

Central Ambulance Service provides medical support for events of all shapes and sizes from the local committee ran car boot sale to major festivals and other organisations. This includes covering sporting events, film set medics, festivals, and concerts, providing emergency medical response teams with Paramedics, Nurses and Doctors to First Aiders and First Responders. We can provide onsite Welfare Services and Mental Health First-Aid; we can even provide on-site medical teams for the industrial and construction sectors working with you to meet safety obligations. Some of our new services include Covid Supervisors providing screening services to keep events and film sets covid secure. We taken pride in offering event work through our CQC Registrered Company meaning we apply the highest of standards to what we do giving you that reassurance that we are registered and regulated.

PATIENT TRANSPORT SERVICE

Central Ambulance Service offers NHS-funded, private health care organisations and members of the public with a range of emergency and non-emergency medical transport solutions. In today’s day and age many NHS and independent healthcare providers are finding their resources over stretched and unable to cope with current demand, Our Ambulance Crews are ready at a moment’s notice to help meet demand. Our services include a range of patient transport solutions, specialised for a range of conditions and mobilities. We can offer standard Basic Life Support training non-emergency patient transport service crews to emergency Paramedic Ambulances, delivering a safe emergency blue light service when it’s needed. Out PTS Service is also hired by councils and CCG's who may need a service to admit a resident for respite care or even to bring someone downstairs to a newly installed bed on the ground floor.

DISCHARGE VEHICLES

Central Ambulance operates a highly efficient discharge service, with our ambulance crews trained and able to take bookings directly from the hospital, there are no call centres to speak to, which often leads to long delays and compromises to , our discharge vehicle works for your hospital and no one else, remaining on-call and on-site ready at all times. Our Ambulance is capable of bariatric transport, emergency transport and A&E / Ward Transfers, home / care home discharges and any other form of transport. With strict cleaning precautions in place to ensure we can deal with infectious patients and non-infectious patients. we ensure the proper respects are paid to our patients resulting in a person-centred care approach for each individual.

ICU/HDU Emergency Transfer Ambulances

Central Ambulance is a on standby now to take your call for an emergency ambulance to transfer a patient from your Intensive Care Unit or High Dependency Unit under emergency conditions, our ambulances are capable of docking hospital transfer trolleys and equipped with 230v and 12v sockets so equipment can be plugged straight in. With a bespoke design inside the ambulance, we can accommodate medical escorts and their kit with plenty of room. Our ambulances can come with our equipment or yours. Our Ambulance crew will not leave your medical team stranded at the receiving hospital resulting in hefty taxi bills, their return journey is included in the quote..

DISCHARGE TO ASSESSMENT AMBULANCES

With Discharge to Assessment now in operation across England, Central Ambulance Service offers a quick reaction service to take patients to their discharge assessments at home and immediately return them should the discharge fail, our small family run service ensures that we are able to actively run and manage D2A journeys in comparison to larger independent ambulance services whose systems cannot deal with the complexity of the D2A System. Our staff understand and work with your hospital teams to ensure the discharge system runs with minimal delays which cause massive knock-on issues down the line. We have worked with a  number of NHS Trusts in the North of England and the North West ensuring that their D2A Discharges work by providing an effective service.
