DISCHARGE TO ASSESSMENT AMBULANCES

With Discharge to Assessment (D2A)now operating across England, Central Ambulance Service provides a responsive and efficient service to transport patients to their home assessments and return them promptly if a discharge cannot proceed.

As a small, family-run service, we can actively manage and coordinate D2A journeys with a personal touch — something larger providers often struggle to deliver due to the complexity of the system.

Our experienced staff work closely with hospital teams to ensure discharges run smoothly, minimising delays that can cause broader operational issues. We have partnered with several NHS Trusts in the North of England and North West, delivering a dependable and effective service that keeps the D2A process moving efficiently.
